A pro-life film that is written and directed with consummate professionalism: Juno is a winner.

Maybe I should see it again.
My first impressions were much less positive, but the soundtrack was outstanding.

I don't think Juno was pro-life.
The playwright had a particular situation (the sarcastic teenager interviewing the well-groomed yuppies to be adoptive parents) that was simply incompatible with the obvious solution to her problem, so the obvious solution had to be written out.
Stories about pregnancy that end with babies are just easier story-telling than those that end without babies, so they're overrepresented in film and especially TV, which always goes for the easiest, sappiest ending.
