On Saturday, we saw the 3D version of the Disney movie "Up."
I saw the 2D version in Baltimore.
The 3D added something to the movie, particularly the South American vistas.
Even the buttons in the credits were obviously 3D.
However, the story remains uneven, preachy, and shamelessly manipulative.

Films aren't people: I don't think they can exhibit shame.
Also, the art lies not in the object itself, but in the object's interaction with the audience: you therefore should expect a piece of art to manipulate you. If you don't like that, then why participate in art?
I stand by the substance of my comments, but maybe I am not using the correct words to express them.
In both cases, I attended the film to accompany family members.
If I had gone alone, I would have chosen a film with more artistic merit (e.g., Drag Me To Hell).
